Ben Hur is a very special variety of Pomegranate that produces fruit that can weigh between 1-1.5kg. The fruit is sweet and juicy and a deep bright red. It is an increasingly popular variety with home gardeners.

The trees are pot-friendly and deciduous or semi-deciduous (depending on variety) and climate. Once established they are an attractive, bushy and hardy tree with beautiful red flowers.

The fruit are very versatile and can be juiced, you can sprinkle seeds in salads, over desserts or over BBQ meat dishes, - or eat them fresh from the tree.
