The Black Genoa is a wonderful fig with a dark purple almost black skin and a rich jewel red coloured flesh. They are a robust and vigorous grower producing a large volume of super-sweet fruit. As a deciduous tree, it will lose its leaves in winter. Suitable to grow in a large pot or in the ground.

Your Fig tree may well produce its first few fruit within 12-24 months of planting. Once they are more mature they will often have a large summer harvest followed by a smaller mid-Autumn harvest.
